Birds of Europe

For Christmas, Hugh has a new camera. Designed to help with his hobby of bird watching, it is a Canon powershot with a miraculous optical zoom lens. It goes out to the equivalent of 1200mm telephoto, which, if it wasn't for photographing birds, would qualify him as paparazzi or as a spy. 

He is constantly on the lookout for birds, propping to photograph them, then poring over the Internet to identify them when we are back at the apartment. Here is some of his work.
